Baik dan Kumpulkan Air Berkilauan: Seltzer Target Disemak

Target has quietly built one of the most interesting private-label sparkling water lineups in the U.S. retail market.

Good and Gather launched in 2019 as Target’s flagship food and beverage brand, replacing the older Market Pantry and Simply Balanced lines. By 2021, it had become a billion-dollar brand for Target based on internal reporting, with sparkling water serving as one of the core repeat-purchase categories driving that growth.

What makes the Good and Gather sparkling water lineup genuinely worth paying attention to is not the price (though it is competitive at around $3.99 for an 8-pack, or roughly $0.40 per can). It is the flavor creativity. Blackberry Mandarin, Yuzu Mandarin, Rainbow Sherbet, Peach Ginger, Pomegranate Dragonfruit, and Cranberry Ginger Mule are flavors that LaCroix and Bubly have not touched, and some of them are genuinely excellent.

What Is Good and Gather Sparkling Water?

Good and Gather’s sparkling water line follows the same formula as LaCroix, Bubly, and Waterloo: purified carbonated water with natural flavor compounds added. No sugar. No sweeteners. No sodium. No artificial ingredients. Target’s internal quality standards ban artificial flavors, colors, and sweeteners from the Good and Gather line.

The cans are 12oz slim aluminum, BPA-free, and fully recyclable. The design is clean and minimal, color-coded by flavor. The carbonation level is described by Cheapism’s reviewer as hitting “that perfect middle ground, robust enough to deliver a satisfying fizz that tingles on your tongue, but not so aggressive that it feels like a mouth explosion.”

Good and Gather also carries a caffeinated sparkling water sub-line. The Pear and Hibiscus Caffeinated Sparkling Water was rated by Sporked as the best caffeinated sparkling water they tested, with 35mg of caffeine per can. The reviewer called it “fragrant, light, and bubbly.” (Note: Sporked reported this flavor has since been discontinued in some markets, though it may still be available in certain Target stores.)

Good and Gather Sparkling Water: Key Flavors Reviewed

Blackberry Mandarin ⭐

Cheapism’s reviewer called this “a top-tier sparkling water,” noting that “these two fruits work perfectly together” and comparing it to a far more refreshing way to start the day than coffee. The mandarin comes through first, bright and citrusy, then the blackberry adds a tart depth on the finish. One of the most distinctive flavor combinations in any mainstream sparkling water lineup.

Yuzu Mandarin

Yuzu is a Japanese citrus fruit that almost never appears in mainstream sparkling water. Good and Gather’s version delivers it well. Cheapism called it “one of the most unique flavors I have tasted in any sparkling water,” noting the yuzu was clearly present. TikTok reviewers have rated it 8 out of 10 consistently.

Peach Ginger

Cheapism’s reviewer expected to dislike this one and was pleasantly surprised. “The peach flavor is big and bright, and there is a gorgeous hint of ginger.” The ginger is a background note rather than a punch, which keeps it accessible for people who do not want the intensity of a ginger-forward sparkling water.

Tropical Cherry

A cherry base with citrusy lemon and lime notes that prevent it from going too sweet or medicinal. Cheapism noted “plenty of citrusy, lemon, and lime flavors to help round it out.” A good choice if you like cherry sparkling water but find pure cherry seltzer tends to veer toward cough syrup territory.

Watermelon Lime

Cheapism called this “the most balanced watermelon-lime seltzer I have had.” Watermelon is a notoriously difficult sparkling water flavor that often goes candy-adjacent. The lime addition here keeps it grounded. TikTok reviewers were more divided, with some rating it 3 out of 10, but the consensus from written reviews places it as one of the better executions of the watermelon seltzer concept.

Black Cherry

The most traditional flavor in the lineup and consistently among the highest rated. Target’s own review system shows Black Cherry maintaining 4.5-star averages. Cleanly executed, not medicinal.

Lime

A solid standard. Good carbonation, reliable citrus note. For lime sparkling water, it competes well with LaCroix Lime at a comparable price.

Raspberry Hibiscus

Cheapism noted the hibiscus is “kept under control, with raspberry as the star of the show.” The flavor starts strong but dissipates quickly, leaving mostly carbonation finish. Good as an introduction to floral sparkling waters without the hibiscus being overwhelming.

Cranberry Ginger Mule

Available in the larger 33.8oz format, this is an obvious mocktail-adjacent flavor aimed at people who want something to pour at events without reaching for alcohol. The ginger mule reference sets clear expectations and the flavor delivers on them with a ginger-spice kick and tart cranberry.

Best and Worst Good and Gather Flavors

  • Best: Blackberry Mandarin, Yuzu Mandarin, Peach Ginger, Tropical Cherry, Watermelon Lime
  • Worth trying: Black Cherry, Raspberry Hibiscus, Pear Hibiscus Caffeinated (where available)
  • Skip or buy cautiously: Lime (carbonation inconsistency reported), Strawberry Mango (divided reviews, some calling it disappointing)

Good and Gather’s edge is flavor creativity and the caffeinated sub-line. Its limitation is Target exclusivity. For someone who shops at Target regularly, the house brand is a top-tier seltzer choice that competes directly with the major national labels.
